On a Bus

I just have to share with you all, what happened to me this week.

Previously I have believed in the Lord’s power to heal and have had healing within the church.

But on Friday morning I was on a bus going into town.   I had been suffering with a painful back for three days and was getting fed up.

So I just shut my eyes and prayed to Jesus, directly to him just as if he was sitting there beside me.

“Lord,” I said, “I am fed up with this pain; I can’t take it any more. Please take it away. Thank you Jesus.”

Within seconds the pain had gone...completely gone.

It was then it dawned on me it is so simple all you have to do is ask and it will be given.  My Faith had healed me. I had not questioned if I should be healed, if I was worthy of healing. No I just trusted in the Lord and he took away my pain.

Why had I not ever done this before?  I wondered, if it is this simple. It was quite an enlightenment, like a veil was lifted from my face.

All I had to do was trust in Him.

Ask and it will be given to you.  Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened to you.

It’s so simple why don’t we all do it?
