Clothes Store: We have a good supply of summer / winter clothing for adults and children in need, a well used facility.
Mother and Toddlers: Runs on one morning per week. This has been slow to make an impact on the community.
Schools: There are four primary schools and one large secondary school. The Ministry Team is represented on the School Boards of two of the Primary Schools and the Secondary School. The Team conduct regular Assemblies in three of the Primary Schools. There is an increasing level of activity in the Secondary School, with Assembly and Counselling services being introduced.
After School Club: Runs on a Wednesday afternoon for P3 – P7 children.
Prayer Station: This is a joint venture with the Baptist Church, Edinburgh City Mission and others. We are planning to set up a facility in the Local Shopping Centre, where people can receive prayer and counselling. The Shop location has been secured and plans are being prepared for operation and funding.
Funerals: Varies between 15 – 25 per year. (Difficult funerals following tragic or violent deaths are not uncommon.)
