The Church Ministry

Attendance: Morning attendance averages 150, including children and young people. Evening Service attendance is around 100

Membership: Approximately 200

Preaching: Long established tradition of Biblical Exposition.

Prayer: Prayer is at the heart of Church Life, with prayer meetings at 9.-am, before the Sunday Morning service. On a monthly basis there are prayer meetings (2-3 hours after the morning service and an Elders Prayer Meeting at 7.00am on the first Saturday each month. There are numerous informal prayer groups. A trained Prayer Team is available for Prayer Ministry after services.

Worship: Worship is led by a Praise Band, at both morning and evening services, with a mixture of contemporary and traditional praise.

Housegroups: There are three well established housegroups and 1 young adult’s housegroup.

Pastoral Care: “5 Alive” visiting scheme – provides for members to visit up to 5 households, distributing the Church Contact Magazine.

Young People: There is a thriving teenage work through Youth Ministry Team with 117 young people on the Roll.

Outreach: The Church has run Alpha courses successfully for the last seven years. The local community newspaper has been open to providing space for a church article of testimony in every issue for the last eight years.
