A typical MOPS meeting features a speaker presenting information on topics such parenting, discipline, relationships, nutrition and health and wellbeing.  Usually the presentation is followed by a small group discussion where mums can share their successes, questions and any concerns.  It is during these times that a mum realises that she is not alone and lifelong friendships are formed.  Some week’s mums are also given the opportunity to express themselves creatively.  Through crafts mums are encouraged to experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with trying and finishing new things.

There is always an array of delicious food to enjoy whether that be a breakfast for morning MOPS or some home baking for MOPS@Nite.

Some weeks will be MOPS specials and they vary from pampering days to scrapbooking events.

MOPS is led by Mothers of Preschoolers for Mothers of Preschoolers.
