MOPS in the morning has been established since 2006, and runs fortnightly on Mondays during school term time from 9.30 – 11.30.  You can come along to MOPS in the morning if you are pregnant or are a mother of a preschooler and live in the Wester Hailes area.

There is a free MOPPETS crèche and a healthy breakfast is provided.

During holiday times there is the opportunity to go on Mother and Toddler outings.

Some of the topic’s that will be covered this year in MOPS are:

•Child’s Play – how to play effectively with your children.  Creating a treasure box to store all important childhood memories.

•Self- Esteem – What are my gifts, how can I motivate myself and others

•Creating Balance – Time saving and organisation tips for life

•Where’s my lab partner – Dealing with absent partners and building a community of friends

•Disciplinology – How to say no and mean, teaching discipline.

•Under the Microscope – Cancer awareness

•Moulding your kids – What are the values we are teaching our children?

•Crafts – making treasure boxes, creating notice boards, designing a bag as well as Christmas and Easter specials and our famous spa day, ‘Meology’
