MOPS@Nite

MOPS@Nite started in 2007 and is open to mums who live outside Wester Hailes or cannot make MOPS in the morning.  It runs fortnightly on a Monday during term time from 7.30 to 9.30.

There are no facilities for childcare, tea coffee and cake is provided.

MOPS@Nite meets once a month for a social night, where we go out for dessert and once a month we meet at IKEA on a Friday for breakfast.  We also have holiday connections where we go out on Mother and Toddler outings.

MOPS@Night

Some of the topic’s that will be covered this year in MOPS are:

•Child’s Play – how to play effectively with your children.  Creating a treasure box to store all important childhood memories.

•Defining U as Mum – Who am I? Personality testing to work out what type of Mum you are.

•Creating Balance – Using your unique Mum personality to parent your child in the best possible way.

•Where’s my lab partner – Engaging in Healthy Relationships

•Dissecting behaviour in kids – How to say no and mean, teaching discipline.

•Under the Microscope – Cancer awareness

•Sculpture – Shaping your child’s Heart.  Mixing the right ingrediants, what we need to raise healthy children.

•Crafts – making treasure boxes, creating notice boards, science experiments as well as Christmas and Easter specials and our famous spa day, ‘Meology’
